Shawnee Baird – Acting Coach

Shawnee Baird is originally from a small town in Southern Pennsylvania and is a professional singer/actor/dancer.

She holds a BFA in Musical theatre with a minor in Arts Management from Shenandoah University.

Shawnee has performed in a variety of theatre including theme park entertainment, murder mystery dinner shows, and children’s theatre.

Shawnee has been attending Bon Air Baptist church since 2014 when she moved to Richmond to tour with Theatre IV (now Virginia Rep on Tour).  She enjoys visiting home bound church members, volunteering at Wonderful Wednesday dinners, and running the Lemonade Stand – Get Plugged In center after the Gathering services with her Fiancé Stephen.

She has co-directed The Three Trees and The Last Supper along with Becky Hopkins for Bon Air Baptist Church.  She plans to begin auditioning again for local theatre productions later this year.  Shawnee also portrays Show Bear, the Virginia Rep mascot, at special events around Richmond and is a freelance video captioner for Rev.

Shawnee looks forward to using her experience and talents to help others interested in theatre prepare for the audition process.

Emily Hettervig – Musical Theater

Emily Hettervig is from a small town in North Dakota. Emily moved to New York and studied Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

She was recently seen off-Broadway in the Yankee Peddler as Elizabeth/Olga and touring around the country with Cornerstone Chorale and Brass.

Her favorite NY roles include Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Wendy in Peter Pan.
